Health MBA Program
The TKK Health MBA program has been specially designed for individuals with managerial positions in the healthcare sector. This program will help you to further strengthen your knowledge and skills in management, leadership and business. The program suits participants with diverse educational and occupational backgrounds: past participants have included medical doctors, masters in healthcare and medicine, senior health care professionals from public and private organizations, service, pharmaceutical and research-based organizations.
The Health MBA program is especially designed for experts that are working full-time and wish to acquire a sound and in-depth competence on the key disciplines in healthcare business and management. The Health MBA program typically takes about 3 years to complete when studied part-time. Participants have the opportunity to start the program at any point during the year.
The Health eMBA program includes healthcare specific modules that have been designed to address important managerial issues that are specific to the healthcare sector. These modules complement the generic TKK eMBA study modules to form a healthcare management curriculum found nowhere else. The TKK Executive School of Business has entered into a strategic partnership with HSE Executive Education to jointly produce this high-quality set of healthcare specific study modules. The following collaborators also guarantee the high quality of the program content: The Finnish Medical Society Duodecim, University of Helsinki, and the HEMA Institute of TKK.
Contents of the Health MBA program:
- 8 healthcare specific modules (organized in cooperation with HSE Executive Education)
- 9 core MBA modules (organized by TKK Executive School of Business)
- 2 international modules
- 2 applied project papers
- MBA thesis
Taken together these combine to 120 European Credits (ECTS).
