Q: What is a "new credit unit"? How about the good old credit weeks?
A: The new credit units relate to the transition of the Finnish university system to match the European university system. The new credit units are based on the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) where 1600 hours of study work corresponds to 60 new credit units.
